On Thursday, March 26, Karl’s Cabin transforms into a cozy, candlelit time capsule where the best of the 80s meets warm wood, Fesoft lighting, and great company. Imagine more than 600 candles flickering as familiar melodies are reborn through two violins, a viola, and a cello — equal parts romantic and delightfully unexpected.
Arrive early to soak in the atmosphere: a welcome Champagne toast at 6:00 PM, dinner at 6:30 PM, and then, when the lights go low at 7:45 PM, the Kalkaska String Quartet will take you on an hour‑long journey through the era’s biggest hits. It’s an evening designed for singing along in your head, tapping your foot, and making memories that feel both timeless and a little bit retro.
